Transfer in by line item - Intergraph Smart Materials - Version 5.0 SP1 (5.0.1) - Help - Hexagon PPM

For space and rack management validations to work, MobileScan application must be online.

1. From the Home screen, tap the Transfer tile.

   

2. Select an MTR.

   

   • The newly created MTR will use your Smart Materials rules and credentials, and will be automatically assigned to the person who created it.

   • The newly created MTR is displayed at the bottom and displays the originating warehouse and number of line items on the MTR.

   • You can add or update the description. Add the relevant information and tap .

     

     

     • If you sign in with a role that has a privilege MOBILE_POST_REPORT assigned, Done is replaced with Post. On tapping Post, the MTR is posted in Smart Materials.

     • If posting to Smart Materials fails, MobileScan app displays a message:

       MTR posting denied. Contact Smart Materials Administrator.

       Smart Materials Administrator must check whether the function M_PCK_SITE_CUSTOM.check_before_post_mtr() returns True or False. For successful posting of MTR to Smart Materials, this function must return True.

     • To enable posting of MTR, select Use for APIs in User Security for Projects screen in Smart Materials.

3. Select a line item to transfer.

   The application displays the Transfer In screen.

4. Review the MTR details, including originating warehouse and location, description, Tag information and quantity.

5. Type the site code.

   Site Code is displayed only when Bin location is enabled.

6. Type or select the warehouse.

   If Bin location is enabled, the application sorts the warehouses based on the site code.

7. Type or select the location.

   If Bin location is enabled, the application sorts the locations based on the selected warehouse.

8. Select the material status from the New Status list.

9. Type the image description and then attach a file.

10. Tap Transfer In.

    

    Based on the outstanding quantity at the selected warehouse and location, the MobileScan application evaluates if the scanned items for the entered quantity can be transferred.

    

11. Go to Sync screen and then tap Sync now.

    You can transfer the selected material to multiple locations and warehouses with different quantities. You can also adjust the original quantity to be moved by adjust the Quantity tab and selecting .
