This section is applicable only if you are using Smart Materials Classic or Smart Reference Data Classic.
Starting with version 2020 Service Pack 3 (10.0.3), Smart Materials Classic supports
Oracle Forms 12.2.1.4, since Oracle no longer provides security fixes for Forms 12.2.1.2.
To upgrade your application server, follow the instructions in Upgrade Forms 12.2.1.4 from 12.2.1.2. Support of the earlier version Forms 12.2.1.2 continues. When installing the Service
Pack, make sure that you select the appropriate version.
Smart Materials Classic Application Server Service Packs cannot be removed. If the
Service Pack installation fails or if you face any problems after installing the Service
Pack, see Troubleshooting for further instructions.

Depending on the Forms version, copy the SMatClassic or SMatClassic_12.2.1.4 folder to the application server where Smart Materials Classic is installed.

Check that no Smart Materials Classic session is open before you start the Service Pack installation, to ensure that all screens (fmx) are updated.

On the application server, open the SMatClassic or SMatClassic_12.2.1.4 folder.

Double-click MAT_Classic_Setup_SPxx_v.v.v.v.v.exe (xx replaced by the current Service Pack number and v.v.v.v.v replaced by the current version)..
If you are not logged in as an administrator, right-click MAT_Classic_Setup_SPxx_v.v.v.v.v.exe and select Run as administrator.

Click Start Setup.
Click the Installation Guide link to open Intergraph Smart Materials Service Pack.
On Forms 12.2.1.4 setup, acknowledge this message:

When the installation completes successfully, select View Readme, and click Finish.
