You can add properties to quote details to provide more information to the bidders about the material, or to allow the suppliers to add information. To enable these properties, do the following:

  1. Define the required attributes on the A.50.01 Attributes screen.

If you want to restrict the input of values in the Portal to a pre-defined list, specify valid values or a select statement. For more information, see Attributes.

  2. Define an attribute set on the A.50.04 Attribute Sets screen.

  3. Assign the attributes to the set.

Default Value will not be displayed in Portal, and Level is not considered because all attributes are always assigned to the quotation details.

  4. If you want to set the attribute to read-only, clear the Upd check box next to Inq.

Read-only properties cannot be updated in the Portal.

  5. Assign any attributes from the attribute set to requisition line items and enter values if you want to show this information in the Portal.

  6. After creating an inquiry from the requisition, assign the attribute set to the inquiry in the Attribute Set field on P.30.21 Prepare RFQ.

  7. Approve the inquiry.

All properties, which are assigned to the attribute set that is attached to the inquiry, are displayed on the Quote DetailsPrices and Quote DetailsOverall View screens in the Portal, in the Properties section next to the Identification Details.

  8. In the Portal, you can enter values for the editable properties.

The properties which have values assigned can be displayed on the P.30.22 Window 2 screen, using the Item Attachments button.
