-
Locate the R3D port from which you want to route a pipe.
-
Click Route Pipe Command on the vertical toolbar.
-
On the Route Pipe Ribbon, select a run from the Run list box.
-
Press and hold the S key.
-
Select a reference 3D port, and then click to route the pipe run. If the reference 3D port is not available, hover the mouse on the end of the reference 3D object until the Circle 3d , Revolution 3d , or Ruled Surface glyph displays, and then click to route the pipe run. Similarly, if the reference 3D ports are not available for turns or reducers, select a point close to port 1, the software routes in the direction of port 1. If you select a point close to port 2, the software routes in the direction of port 2.
The software does not display the Reference 3D Pipe Nozzle Properties Dialog.
-
Continue routing. The software routes the pipe but does not create a connection to the R3D port.
-
Right-click to end the routing.
You can also click Cancel on the Reference 3D Pipe Nozzle Properties Dialog and continue routing.
