Standard Database for Smart Reference Data Version
12.5

This release of SDB is enabled to add sample data related to the Smart Materials workflows (E&PI (Bill of Materials), E&PI (Requisition), MSCM, and Site modules). SDB created a new project, SMPL_SMAT, and added sample data for the Smart Materials workflows.

The SDB Merge Tool provides a mechanism to merge Smart Materials project data from the SDB database to the target database. You can toggle between Smart Reference Data merging and Smart Materials merging on the sign-in page. By selecting the Smart Materials merging option, the complete merge of SMAT data from the source database to the target database is done. Merging progress status is displayed on the merge tool's user interfaces.

Special Instructions

Pre-merge data changes in the target database

To migrate the Smart Material sample data from SDB, you must create a new project, SMPL_SMAT, before merging the respective data from the source database to the target database to sync the database with SDB 12.5.

Post-merge data changes in the target database

If the view status of the condition is Not Present in the target project, you need to generate the view and make the status as Valid.
