Upgrading the SDB 12.3 or SDB 12.4 database to SDB 12.5
The SDB 12.5 upgrade is certified and supported for the following migration paths:

SDB 12.3 to SDB 12.5

SDB 12.4 to SDB 12.5
The upgrade process of the database from SDB 12.4 to SDB 12.5 is described in step-wise details in this document.

All the databases mentioned above must be on SRD 10.4.

For migration of SDB versions less than SDB 12.3 to SDB 12.5, it is mandatory to upgrade at least to SDB 12.3 first and continue with the steps to complete the upgrade to SDB 12.5.

An upgrade script needs to be run to migrate the database to SDB 12.5.

For the database that is already migrated to SDB 12.5, running a pre-migration script again is not required, as all script changes were already included in the target database when the upgrade script was run.
