Select Project > Add PODs Command to open the Add POD Files dialog.

Browse to the appropriate folder location.

Choose the POD file to add to the project.

Select Open to add the selected file to the project database
The software displays a message prompting you to check out and open the file.

Select Yes in the confirmation box to display the file in the Detail window. If you want to check out the file later, select No.

If the selected file is already in the database, the software displays a message.

You can also use the Add POD Files dialog to select multiple POD files to add to the project. After adding a batch of POD files, the software does not prompt you to check out and open the file. You must use the Project > Check Out Command to check out the POD files. See Check out a pipeline from the Spoolgen database.

The software records the results of the add POD file process to the SPI_SpoolgenDatabaseviewProject.log file in the local Temp folder.
