In HMS, upon Check-out (via front desk, telephone, TV, iPad, etc.), the following update and data transfer will occur.
Data will be transmitted from HMS to update the equipment record that resides in EAM:

The ROOM will have the OCCUPANCY set to vacant/available.

The GUEST value will be set to NULL.

The VIP STATUS value will be set to NULL.
Upon departure, the names of all guests for a hotel reservation will be unassigned from the ROOM. HMS will transmit this information upon departure of the last guest if multiple guests are assigned to the same room.
