For the purposes of HMS, equipment is defined as the room and any attributes that make it a living space (e.g., furniture, shower, sink, toilet, refrigerator, small appliances, television, lighting, etc.), the building itself and all the fixtures and devices to operate the building as an interim residence and place of business.
For this integration, HMS will "own" the Guest Rooms and Event rooms. All other equipment including common areas like lobby, café, etc., vehicles, facilities, and structures (i.e., building, floor, wing, etc.) will be "owned" by EAM. The HMS application will not contain individual records for the equipment owned by EAM. With this scenario in place any activity in HMS or
EAM that impacts the guest or event room (ROOM) will need to be synchronized between systems.
