Configure New flag settings to align with the needs of your business.

Requires an account with the Administrator role.
About this task
New flags appear when content is published or changed. Adjust settings to determine how they are cleared and who can clear them.
Procedure

On the menu bar, click the gear icon > Configuration.

In UI Modes, scroll down to UpdateFlagField.

Select Completion or Acknowledgement.
This setting determines how new flags are reset. 'Completion' only allows completing
content to reset new flags. 'Acknowledgement' allows both completing or clicking the
Acknowledge button on the content to reset new flags.

Go to UpdatedFlagUserSpecific and select Yes or No.
When set to Yes, resetting New flags is user-specific. If set to No, any user can
reset the New flag for all users.

Click Save.
Results
New flags are set and cleared as configured.
