Every user is provided with a user account to log in to AcceleratorKMS. Your user account contains the domain(s) and role(s) you have been assigned. When content (document or flow) is created, it is assigned to a single domain and one or more roles. Therefore, the domains and roles you have been assigned determine:

  • Content and tasks you can access

  • What you see in your search results and dashboard reporting

  • What authorization you have for completing and using content

The following table shows the various operation types that can be assigned to a role by an administrator and are sorted by typical role functions. The table also identifies the role operations that are either applied to content by the domain or are applied globally to all objects in the system.

For example:

  • Domain and domain descendants - Users with role operations in this category have access to documents and flows within their assigned domain and domain descendants.

  • Global - Users with role operations that are identified as Global have global access for that specific role regardless of domain.
