Graphic Rule
This is an example of the graphic representation of an Equipment component in a drawing.
Label Rule
Every piece of equipment is labeled with a name label and a north-east coordinate label. The name label is placed in the center of the equipment, unless there is an object already in the center or there is insufficient white space for the label. If the label cannot be placed on the center of the object, it is placed with a jogged leader. The coordinate label is placed on the object origin, unless there is insufficient space, in which case it will find the necessary white space. See the above graphic for an example of the labels.
Dimension Rule
Vertical and horizontal dimensions are placed on the equipment components. The point of dimensioning is the object origin.
