The Piping Data Processor requires that you have a processor configuration file (.ppc) in the local folder. This configuration file contains the commands to be executed against each batch of piping data files during pre-processing. The processor configuration file supports options that are specific to the type of file being processed: IDF or PCF.
Processing functions are carried out in seven stages. Because operations within each stage are performed in the order in which they appear in the .ppc file, it is sometimes necessary to specify more than one pre-processing file. See Appendix: Sample Processor Configuration File.
Stage 1: The software performs initial operations on the entire file.

If you use commands to change such things as symbol keys on blind flanges and then decide to use .ppc file containing the AUTO-CHANGE command. See POST-PROCESS.
