The Actions logbook may be accessed from the Action Management menu in the navigation bar. A user can enter an action for the operational areas to which they have been assigned. The standard j5 actions for a record (add, edit, delete etc) are available, according to the logged in user’s rights.

Actions List View

In the default installation, the information relating to each action is presented under the following tabs in the record detail view:

  • Detail - contains the primary information about the action including all the users related to the action and the target due date of the action.

  • Tasks - actions can be further divided into simpler tasks. These tasks are recorded here.

  • Notes - extra information and comments can be added as individual notes on the action.

  • Audit Trail - records an audit of when the action changed status, and the user responsible for the change.
