This is the recommended method for configuring the Smart Engineering Manager Web Application. The Smart Engineering Manager Web Application DVD layout contains a Postinstallation folder that includes the following files used to configure the installation:

AuthenticationConfiguration.ps1

PostInstallationModule.psm1 (in the PostInstallationModule folder)
To perform the configurations, you must execute the scripts in the following files with appropriate parameters:

Run IISConfiguration.ps1 to configure the Internet Information Server for Smart Engineering Manager (SEM) to create the application pools and applications. For details, see Configure IIS for SEM Web.

Run AuthenticationConfiguration.ps1 to register the SEM Web Application (Web API and Web Client) with the Smart API Manager (SAM) authentication server. For details, see Configure settings on SAM authentication server.
If you are using a different authentication tool such as Okta, your Administrator
needs to register the SEM Web Application on that tool.
