Intergraph Smart® Engineering Manager Web API is a web-based administration tool that supports administration activities for Intergraph Smart® P&ID and Intergraph Smart® Electrical, and allows you to connect to endpoint sources of these and other engineering applications such as Intergraph Smart® Instrumentation. Smart Engineering Manager Web API takes advantage of a client/server design that greatly enhances performance and lowers the cost of ownership. The intuitive user interface design with its streamlined layout, allows you to easily manage user access and to share plant data.
The Intergraph Smart® Engineering Manager Web Client interface manages the plant structures while the applications themselves are responsible for manipulating the actual data (including creating, deleting, modifying, launching, and so forth). Smart Engineering Manager Web Client allows you to create and maintain sites and plant structures exposed by the Smart Engineering Manager Web API using URLs that enable access to any data exposed by the API.
All other functionality such as adding plant group types, modifying plant attributes, creating and modifying hierarchies, and backup and restore operations, is currently available in Smart Engineering Manager 13.
