Sets options for generating planning joints. The ribbon displays automatically after you click Generate Planning Joints .
Select
Select one or more assemblies, blocks, and/or assembly blocks, either graphically in the active window (blocks only), or through the Workspace Explorer.
Finish
Processes the Generate Planning Joints command and commits the changes to the database.
Action
Defines what action the command performs.
Create
Creates new planning joints on the selected assemblies.
Update
Updates existing planning joints on the selected assemblies.
Create & Update
Creates new planning joints and updates existing planning joints on the selected assemblies.
Delete
Deletes all planning joints on the selected assemblies.
Planning Joint Rule
Defines the rule from the catalog used to create planning joints.
PlnJointRule Default
Creates planning joints for all edges of the physical connection. The thickness of connected plates determines the planning joints for the side welds of a physical connection.
PlnJointRule Single Weld
Creates one planning joint for a selected physical connection.
PlnJointRule Weld Category
Creates planning joints based on the weld bevel category. This rule creates one planning joint for a one-sided bevel category physical connection and two planning joints for a two-sided bevel category physical connection.
Submit Job
Displays the Schedule Planning Joint Generation dialog box so that you can schedule the creation of the planning joints at some other time. This option is only available if you have selected a block, assembly, or an assembly block. For more information, see Schedule [Task] Dialog Box.
