The Other Costs page allows you to attach other costs to the selected quote detail.

Select Quotation Details - Other Costs from the menu.
Click Filter to refine the bidding data.

Click Add to add another cost item.

Double-click any cell to enter information.
The entire row switches to edit mode.

You can also press F2 to switch to edit mode.

Once the row is in edit mode, you can click any cell in the row to enter information.

An edit mode indicator shows that the row is in edit mode.

Click Other Cost and select cost, account code, and description information.

Enter a short description if required.

Click Account Code and select the account code and description information.

Select the Eval Cost check box if this other cost is defined as an evaluation cost.

Select the Discountable check box if this other cost is discountable.

If a discount is assigned to the quote summary and this indicator is selected, the other cost is discounted. The cost value total of the discountable other cost remains unchanged.

This option can only be set after a discount has been assigned to the quote summary. If another cost represents a discount (that is, a negative value is entered in Other Cost %), this indicator cannot be set.

If required, do one of the following:

Enter a percentage value in the Other Cost % box.

Enter a fixed cost value in the Cost Value per Unit box.

Select the type of unit price from the Unit Price Type list.

The unit price type is intended to be used for spare parts.

By default, the unit price has no type. The following values are available:

Including
-
Excluding
-
No Quote
-
Not Required

You can only change the Unit Price Type if the Other Cost %, Cost Value per Unit, and Cost Value Total cells are set to zero.

You can only provide values for these options if the Unit Price Type is empty.

Update the value in the Cost Value Total box if required.

You cannot update the cost value total if you have entered a value in the Other Cost % box.

The Cost Value Total value is calculated by the software as the line item extended price multiplied by the other cost % or the line item quantity multiplied by the cost value per unit.

Click Currency and select the currency value.

Enter a description at the bottom of the page.

Click Save.
