Displays the options to select an assembly, block, or system from the Workspace Explorer, or the options to create or select an existing filter on which the Board Assignment by Filter is to run. This dialog also displays the different filters you can select for filtering candidate and target objects, and a path for the log file.

Select Assembly/Block/System

Specifies an assembly, block, or system selectedd from the Workspace Explorer on which to run the board assignment.

Select/Create Filter

Specifies the filter on which to run the board assignment.

Hull Seams

Includes hull seams as valid candidate objects.

Interior Seams

Includes seams that are not on the hull as valid candidate objects.

Inner Contours

Includes features and openings as valid candidate objects.

Override Manual Symmetry

Includes objects whose symmetry was manually overridden as valid candidate and target objects. The override flag is reset to false on these objects.

By Type

Allows only target objects that are of the same type as the candidate object to be set as symmetrical to the candidate object.

By Naming Category

Allows only target objects that have the same naming category as the candidate object to be set as symmetrical to the candidate object.

By Region

Allows only target objects within range of the candidate object to be set as symmetrical to the candidate object. The range is a bounding box of the candidate object mirrored about the center plane. You can expand this range by entering a value in the Growth field.

Log File

Specifies the log file folder path, which defaults to the local Temp folder. Click Log File to select a different folder location. See Board Assignment by Filter Progress Bar for more information about the log file.

Start

Starts the board assignment process using the selected object or filter. You can continue working in the model while the software evaluates valid candidate parts and updates their symmetry.
