Member assembly connections are smart occurrence objects placed between members and other structural objects in the Model. Assembly connections are created by using Place Member Assembly Connection or Free End Cut at a frame connection or Place Member Generic Assembly Connection in the Structural Detailing task. The rules select the type of assembly connection. Assembly connections do not have geometry, but trigger other rules for end cuts, corner features, and physical connections. For more information, see End Cut Rules for Members, Corner Feature Rules, and Physical Connection Rules.
