You can export component data if your user role is associated with SPC_ExportComponents
access group.
You can export component data from one or more component category views to an Excel
workbook.
Two extra columns are exported in your data to detail the UID of a component and whether
or not the component is a tombstone.
Column name
|
Contains
|
UID
|
Unique identifiers for components. This column is hidden in the worksheet.
|
Tombstoned
|
Indicates if a component is included (False) or removed (True) from engineering data.
This column is hidden in the worksheet.
|
For more information on tombstoned components, see Deleted components and tombstones in Smart Construction.
To maintain uniqueness, the view names are changed to the next value available in
the sequence number. For example, if you export View 01, View 01, and View 02, the
target workbook contains View 01, View 01_1, and View 02 sheets.
The column is split into the value and UoM columns in the workbook, adjacent to each
other. For example, the Size column is split into the Size and Size UOM columns in
the target workbook.
