Click Filter
on the column header you want to filter to open the filtering dialog box.

On the filtering dialog box, select filter names to display in the window.
Individual filters are available based on a setting in the client configuration file.
For more information, see Configure the number of column items available for filtering.

In the Show rows with value that area, select conditions and enter criteria.
Select And to combine conditions. Select Or to specify that one condition be met.

Filtering is cleared if you search for an item using the Search box or Advanced Search.

Select My Packages, All Packages, or planning groups to display specific IWPs in a window.

When you filter data that is part of an IWP or report, Smart Construction prints all of the data related, not just the filtered portion.

When you filter data on the Components window column headings and refresh work steps, the action applies to all components in an IWP, not just the filtered portion.

If you filtered a column heading in the Retrieve data dialog box, Smart Construction does not automatically refresh the Retrieve data dialog box. Click Refresh to refresh your view.
