In this section, you will learn how to create the pipe takedown parts rule for the specified specification.

Open Integration > Smart 3D > Smart 3D Configuration.

Go to the Templates tab.

Expand TRAINING_TEMPLATE from the tree view.

Double-click on PipeTakedownParts sheet to open the grid view.

Add records in the grid for the spec CC150-1.

Add records for flanges when NPD is between 2” – 24”, similarly add records for Coupling where NPD is between 1” – 1.75”.

Place a Coupling when NPD is between 1” – 1.5”

Place default flanges when NPD is between 2” – 24”

Save the changes and lock the grid.

Go to Spec Editor and click the Components tab.

Add the Commodity codes for the Coupling in the specification items.

Save the changes and lock the grid.

Go to Integration > Smart3D > Smart3D Transfer Jobs.

Create a new run of the export job CC150-1 and start the job.

When the job processing is done, open the log file from the Log Files tab and review the log file for any errors or warnings.
