-
Create the input geometry, which consists of the bracket edge and the four points.
-
Select the bracket edge line and name it FlangeEdge.
-
Select the four points individually, and name them PointA, PointARef, PointB, and PointBRef to match the names found in the bracket symbol.
-
Group the edge, and then group the four points.
-
Name the input geometry groups.
-
Create the output geometry, and attach it to the input reference points. This geometry should include a tangent and a knuckle line, and those lines should be parallel to the bracket edge input line.
-
Add dimensions and constraints, and create the formulas to drive the dimensions.
-
Select the tangent line and create a group.
-
Select the knuckle line and create a group.
-
Select the flange contour lines by holding the CTRL key and selecting each segment from left to right, and create a group.
-
Group the tangent line group, knuckle line group, and flange contour geometry group. Name the output representation FlangeContours.
