You can take a snapshot of the Renderer window display, and then save the image to a file. A snapshot of the the raytraced image shows only the 3D model objects and elements. Smart Review does not capture measurements, comments, the timestamp, and the view axis in the snapshot.

Follow the steps below to create a snapshot of the contents of the Renderer window.

  1. Set up your model view or select objects to render.

  2. Click View > Photo-Realism > Renderer.

The Renderer raytraces the model and then loads the display to the Renderer window.

  3. From the Main view, click View > Snapshot .

Smart Review displays the Snapshot View dialog box.

  4. Click the Raytrace image option, and then select a location and filename for the resulting image.

  5. Click OK.

The Renderer raytraces the contents of the Renderer window and then saves the resulting image to a file.
