Click SmartPlant > UI Command > Revise.

Select one or more documents from the Select Documents dialog box.
The test document files are Excel (.xls) files in a format specific to SmartPlant
Test Tool.Net. Test document files are installed in the ..\<product directory>\SP Test Tool\Test Files folder, where <product directory> is the product directory of SmartPlant Client.Net (by default C:\Program Files\SmartPlant\SmartPlant
Client.NET). See Test document files for more information.

Click OK.
If you chose to run the SmartPlant Test Tool in non-UI mode, the SmartPlant Test
Tool automatically revises the documents you selected and a confirmation dialog box
appears to report success or failure.

For a new document or a document that does not yet have a defined revision scheme, select the revision scheme you want to use from Name list under Revision Scheme. If the selected document already has a defined revision scheme, this box is read-only.
Only revision schemes that are applicable to the selected document are available
in the drop-down menu. Document configuration and classification items determine which
revisions schemes are applicable.

In the Revise in Tool section, select the next available major and minor revision numbers.

Click OK. The revised document is saved to the authoring tool database. The document currently available for retrieval by other authoring tools is not updated until you publish this revised document. The Revise command also reserves the revision number, if specified, in the integrated environment.
