The test document files are Excel (.xls) files in a format specific to SmartPlant Test Tool.Net. Test document files are installed in the ..\<product directory>\SP Test Tool\Test Files folder, where <product directory> is the product directory of SmartPlant Client.Net (by default C:\Program Files\SmartPlant\SmartPlant Client.NET).
You do not have to use ..\SP Test Tool\Test Files as the directory for a test plant. You can copy test document files to a directory that you create. You would then associate this directory with a plant as described in Register a tool plant using the SmartPlant Test Tool.Net UI Command or Register a tool plant using the SmartPlant Test Tool.Net Non-UI Command.
SmartPlant Test Tool.Net requires that all of the document files for a plant be in a single directory.
