Click Generate Planning Joints
to display the Generate Planning Joints Ribbon.

Select one or more assemblies, blocks, or assembly blocks for which planning joints are needed.
The assembly must contain detailed plate and profile parts with physical connections.
Parts do not have physical connections until they have been detailed in the Structural
Detailing task.

Select the type of action and the planning joint rule.

Click Finish.
The software creates planning joints for each physical connection in the assembly. Planning joints display in green in the graphic view.
The software places planning joints in a folder for each assembly or block on the
Assembly tab of the Workspace Explorer.
