The j5 Maximo interface queries Maximo for Work Orders using a SOAP web service exposed by Maximo. The WSDL URL of this web service is captured in the Work Order Query WSDL URL field. If a SOAP service is configured off the default Work Order object (MXWO), then the WSDL URL will be as follows:

http://<server name>:<port name>/meaweb/services/MXWO?wsdl

The Work Order Query Service URL is the URL j5 calls when calling the query operation in the WSDL. This Service URL is usually defined in the WSDL but Maximo can be configured to expose a different URL hence why this is a separate configuration point. If a SOAP service is configured off the default Work Order object (MXWO), then the service URL will be as follows: http://<server name>:<port name>/meaweb/services/MXWO

The Work Order Query Operation is the common text in the web service operations on the WSDL for querying work orders. For example, if the web service operations are "CreateMXWO", "DeleteMXWO", "QueryMXWO" etc, then Work Order Query Operation is "MXWO".

The Work Order Identifier is the unique identifier of a work order in the Maximo table. It is important that this field is a unique integer as it is used to iterate through the data set of work orders during a full synchronization. This field is also used as a unique identifier of work orders in the j5 Work Order logbook.

Work Order Query Filter is a filter condition that allows the interface to exclude a subset of work orders from the synchronization. This is of the form of a SQL WHERE clause. For example, FIELDX IS NOT NULL. By default, the interface includes work orders that are approved and ready to start or are closed. This is done by excluding the statuses listed below:

status NOT IN ('WAPPR', 'WSCH', 'WMATL', 'WPCOND', 'CAN')

SQL query to fetch the Work Order record with the maximum ID is used by the batch processing during the full synchronization with Maximo to identify the maximum of the Work Order Identifier. This maximum bounds the j5 synchronization in order to identify when the operation is complete.

Work Order Date Changed Field is the field on the work order that identifies the last date and time that the work order was modified in Maximo. This is used to identify the change set during the incremental synchronization.

The set of Work Orders that j5 synchronizes with Maximo can be reduced by setting Exclude Work Orders scheduled to start before (YYYY-MM-DD). This field defaults to the beginning of the current month when the interface is first set up. This configuration point can be set to be blank in order to synchronize all Work Orders in Maximo. Note that synchronizing all Work Orders may make the full synchronization take a long time. Any Work

Order that is scheduled to start before this date will be excluded from the synchronization with the following filter

SCHEDSTART >= '?'

where ‘?’ is the value of Exclude Work Orders scheduled to start before (YYYY-MM-DD).
