The following table lists the configuration fields available on the ‘Maximo Work Orders’ screen:

Setting

Description

Disable Work Orders

Disable the Work Order interface. Note that if ‘Disable Maximo’ or ‘Disable Assets and Locations’ have been checked on the previous screens, then ‘Disable Work Orders’ is required.

Work Order Query WSDL URL

The URL of the SOAP web service exposed by Maximo for querying Maximo for Work Orders

Work Order Query Service URL

The Service URL for querying work orders. This is usually defined in the WSDL, but can be different if a different URL is exposed in Maximo.

Work Order Query Operation

The common operation on the WSDL that should be called to query Work Orders.

Work Order Identifier

The field in the SOAP response that should be used as the unique identifier of a Work Order.

Work Order Query Filter

Additional filter criteria applied when fetching the list of Work Orders. This is formatted as a SQL WHERE clause. For example ‘FIELDX IS NOT NULL’

SQL query to fetch the Work Order record with the maximum ID

During a batch synchronization, j5 uses the Maximo identifier to iterate through batches of work orders. j5 requires a mechanism to identify the maximum of the Maximo identifier.

Work Order Date Changed Field

Primary date field in the SOAP message returned when querying Maximo for Work Orders. This field indicates when the work order was last modified.

Exclude Work Orders scheduled to start before (YYYY-MM-DD)

Minimum scheduled start date for Work Orders.

Validate WSDL URLs

If this is checked, the WSDL URL for querying Work Orders will be validated when the user clicks ‘Next’. j5 will try to establish a connection to the web service with the credentials provided. If left unchecked, j5 will allow setup to continue without validating the web services.

Work Order Auto Sync Enabled

Indicates whether the interface should automatically synchronize Work Orders with Maximo on a schedule. If unchecked, the synchronization will need to be initiated manually.

Sync at same time as asset sync?

Indicates whether work orders should be synchronized at the same time as assets and locations. Checking this disables the ‘Work Order Sync Schedule’ and ‘Work Order Sync Time’ options.

Work Order Sync Schedule

The schedule on which the automatic sync will run.

Work Order Sync Time

The time of day at which the automatic sync will start.
