The following table lists the configuration fields available on the ‘Maximo Service Requests’ screen:

Setting

Description

Disable Service

Disable the Service Request interface. Note that if ‘Disable Maximo’ or ‘Disable Assets and Requests Locations’ have been checked on the previous screens, then ‘Disable Service Requests’ is required.

Service Request Query WSDL URL

The URL of the SOAP web service exposed by Maximo for querying Maximo for Service Requests

Service Request Query Service URL

The Service URL for querying service requests. This is usually defined in the WSDL, but can be different if a different URL is exposed in Maximo.

Service Request Query Operation

The common operation on the WSDL that should be called to query Service Requests.

Service Request Identifier

The field in the SOAP response that should be used as the unique identifier of a Service Request.

Service Request Query Filter

Additional filter criteria applied when fetching the list of Service Requests. This is formatted as a SQL WHERE clause. For example ‘FIELDX IS NOT NULL’

SQL query to fetch the Service Request record with the maximum ID

During a batch synchronization, j5 uses the Maximo identifier to iterate through batches of service requests. j5 requires a mechanism to identify the maximum of the Maximo identifier.

Service Request Date Changed Field

Primary date field in the SOAP message returned when querying Maximo for Service Requests. This field indicates when the service request was last modified.

Service Request Create WSDL URL

The URL of the SOAP web service exposed by Maximo for creating service requests in Maximo.

Service Request Create Service URL

The Service URL for creating service requests. This is usually defined in the WSDL, but can be different if a different URL is exposed in Maximo.

Service Request Create Operation

The common operation on the WSDL that should be called to create a Service Request.

SOAP tag identifier for Service Requests

Tag to identify a Service Request object in the SOAP response from Maximo

Number of look back days (Duplicate check)

When a service request is created in j5, j5 will look back a given number of days and inform the users if a service request has been created for an asset within the look back period. This is used to reduce the number of duplicate service requests created in Maximo against a particular asset.

Validate WSDL URLs

If this is checked, the WSDL URLs for querying and creating Service Requests will be validated when the user clicks ‘Next’. j5 will try to establish a connection to the web services provided by those URLs with the credentials provided. If left unchecked, j5 will allow setup to continue without validating the web services.

Service Request Auto Sync Enabled

Indicates whether the interface should automatically synchronize Service Requests with Maximo on a schedule. If unchecked, the synchronization will need to be initiated manually.

Sync at same time as asset sync?

Indicates whether service requests should be synchronized at the same time as assets and locations. Checking this disables the ‘Service Request Sync Schedule’ and ‘Service Request Sync Time’ options.

Service Request Sync Schedule

The schedule on which the automatic sync will run.

Service Request Sync Time

The time of day at which the automatic sync will start.
