A Desktop Client workstation can be set up to provide user access to the SmartPlant Foundation application server. The workstation can also be set up as an administrative client to maintain and configure SmartPlant Foundation. The security settings of the logged-in user determine the type of work the user can do in SmartPlant Foundation Desktop Client.
You can also run the Desktop Client remotely with no local installation using Citrix®.
