  1. Click File > Open.

    The Open dialog box displays.

  2. Navigate to the database to open.

  3. Click the database name, and then click Open. Alternatively, double-click the filename to open it.

  • The software displays the Database window so that you can view the contents of the database.

  • Whenever a database is open, the software enables the commands on the Main toolbar.
