Response spectra input files contain dynamic pipe forces. These time history loads are determined from pressure transient loading by the AFT Impulse software. CAESAR II reads the output file generated by AFT Impulse, extracts the information needed, and generates the response spectra. The generated response spectrum files can then be used for the dynamic analysis in CAESAR II.
