Requisition Import Jobs_NewImportJob

  1. On the Home page, click Requisitions > Requisition Import Jobs.

  2. To start a new Import Job, click the New Import Job button in the Open Requisition Interface-Import Jobs section

  3. In the Job Information section, enter a unique name in the Job Code cell.

    Depending on the status of the requisition import job, the Job Status automatically shows as New, Error or Ready.

  4. Select Insert Mode or Update Mode in the Processing Mode cell.

  5. Optionally, you can enter a comment on the import job in the User Comment cell.

  6. In the Import File section, select the format of the source file from the select list in the Data Source cell.

    At present, requisition data can be imported from either an ASCII file (default) or an Excel file.

  7. Click the Browse button beside the Import File cell to select the appropriate file from your file system that is to be uploaded to the web server for the import job.

  8. In the Job Options section, select the check box for Technical Evaluation to call the CIP procedure for technical evaluation.

  9. Select the check box for Get Budget to calculate weight indicator.

  10. Select the check box for Get ROS to calculate the requires site data indicator.

  11. Select the check box for Get Designation if the delivery designation of the requisition line item is to be filled.

  12. Select the check box for General CIP Procedure to for this procedure to be called for each requisition created by this MTO.

  13. Click the Start Job button to start the execution of the import job.

  • In the Job Execution Statistics section, all information relating to Job Started By, Start Date, End Date, Execution Summary and Log File are automatically populated.

  • To view the internal log file created for online jobs, click the View button, beside the Log File cell.
