Enables you to select an item type from a source plant group for copying a naming convention to the item type that you selected in the Define Naming Conventions window.
Source plant group
Displays the plant group from which you want to select a source item type.
Browse
Opens the Select Plant Group dialog to select the source group for copying naming convention. In this dialog, the software displays plant groups according to the setting of the check box Copy from reference data in the Define Naming Conventions window. If the check box is selected, the software only displays reference plant groups. If the check box is cleared, software displays plant groups available in the current plant structure.
Source item types
Allows you to select a source item type from which you can copy naming conventions, for example, motor, starter, cable, and so forth.
Naming convention
Allows you to select all the existing naming conventions or a specific naming convention that you want to copy.
Naming convention properties
Displays the description, filter, and convention segment definitions of the source naming convention. Note that if you selected the All naming conventions option, these fields are blank.
