2018 (8.0)

The correct operation of Smart Electrical requires that you specify various library, file, and path names for reference data. The reference data determines where the software stores and finds data. You must specify the locations of most of these libraries, files, and folders for your project before you can begin using Smart Electrical.

You can modify default reference data settings for each project to customize projects and to incorporate company standards into Smart Electrical. In Options Manager, you can define the locations for each of the following default files: reports, templates, symbols for single line diagrams, and drawing block files for schematics.

If you want the software to apply consistency rules created in Smart Electrical Rule Manager, you must specify the rule library file location.
