The Resource import will create or update P6 Resources to EcoSys.
The default behavior will import Resources to the EcoSys Resource subject area.
As an option, it is also possible to import to the Transaction Category called "P6 Resource". This may be desired since P6 Resources are hierarchical and EcoSys Resources are a flat list. Transaction Categories have the benefit of a hierarchical structure but do not have access to Resource features, such as Unit Rates.
The Resource import establishes the mapping by setting the EcoSys External Key field with the Resource Object Id.
It is possible to filter which P6 Resources are imported by setting the EcoSys Connect Global Setting "P6Connector.ResourceToTransactionCategory". This setting has the following requirements:

The filter value must be specified in the format accepted by the P6 API. Please refer to the P6 web services API documentation for details about this format.

By default, this setting is set to import all active Resources, with the value of: IsActive='Y'
