In row 1, define one end point of the landing curve. Be sure to select the Definition option in the Point Type cell.

In row 2, define the other end point of the landing curve. Be sure to select the Definition option in the Point Type cell.

Add other Definition or Knuckle points between the end points, if needed.
Add rows by using the Insert Row command on the using right-click menu.

In Derived Points in the Table, select the axis, axes, or object types to derive points for. In general, you want select an axis or object type that intersects your landing curve.

Select the coordinate system or object in the model along which to derive the points.

Click Preview.

Review the points in the table that the software derived. The derived points have Display as the Point Type.

You can change a derived point to be a definition point by selecting the Definition option in the Point Type cell.

Click Preview when you make any changes to the definition points in the table.
