For applications, the batch system provides a full Batch Client API set, which allows a program to submit, control and manage batch jobs. A header file and link-libraries are included for building applications. Dynamic-Link Libraries (DLL's) are supplied for the API set to reduce the size of application programs and allow smooth upgrading.
