In order to compare all the quotes for a given inquiry, the prices in different currencies must be converted to the currency of the inquiry. Therefore, all currencies used for the quotes of this inquiry must be entered on the Exchange Rates tab with a conversion factor.

Select the currency from the LOV in the Currency field. The currency description will be displayed in the Currency Description field. If a conversion factor was defined on the A.10.13 Unit to Unit screen for this currency, this factor is shown in the Project Factor field. In the Factor field, you define a conversion factor specific to this inquiry and the selected currency. For example, if the inquiry currency is USD, the quote currency is Euro, and the exchange rate from USD to Euro is set to 1.35, you must define a conversion factor of 1.35.

When you click the Reconcile button, all the currencies to be found on the quote summaries, the quote summary details, and the quote summary other costs (on both the header and detail level) are inserted as inquiry exchange rates.

By default, the factor for these exchange rates is copied over from the A.10.13 Unit to Unit screen. This default can be overwritten.

If no factor has been defined on the A.10.13 screen, a factor of 1 is used.
