Smart Materials/Smart Reference Data Version
2020 (10.0)

The following rules apply for XML composition:

To each element, as unit, line, line_data, line_nls, line_attrs, dns, dn_data, dn_attr, branches, you can input attribute ‘ACTION’. If ACTION = "N", then this element and all under it lying in hierarchy-tree elements will not processed. Default is "Y".

  1. Element unit is only used in order to unequivocally determine line.

  2. If you would like to use the element line or dns only as path for underlying elements, you can omit line_data or respectively dn_data.

  3. If no unit_id for line_attr or dn_attr is defined, an unit_id of corresponding Smart Materials attribute is adopted. If unit_id does not agree with the Smart Materials attribute, a mistake is reported.

  4. If a reinforcement participates new, it becomes add to the Smart Materials reinforcement. Input rf_code and rf_desc with it.

  5. If a branch type participates new, it becomes add to the Smart Materials branch types. Input branch_type and btyp_desc with it.
