The Documents API offers functionality to transfer document headers to Smart Materials, link documents to VDRs, and update the status information of the linked documents. The interface functionality can be accessed by calling PL/SQL procedures directly. It is up to you how to incorporate this feature into existing tools.
Using this interface consumes a Smart Materials license during login time.
The functionality is stored in the M_API_DOC package and the customizable (CIP) M_PCK_INT_CUSTOM package.
