When application data is restored from an earlier backup, the following inconsistencies can occur:

  1. Resurrected Object – An object that was deleted after the backup occurred will exist in the restored data set. In order to stay in sync with other applications in the integrated environment, this object should be deleted from the application's data set prior to the first publish after restoring.

  2. Deleted Object – An object that was created after the backup occurred will not exist in the restored data set. In order to stay in sync with other applications in the integrated environment, this object should be created in the application's data set prior to the first publish after restoring.

  3. Modified Object – An object that was modified in some way (for example, property values modified or relationships modified) after the backup was created will have different property values in the restored data set. In order to stay in sync with other applications in the integrated environment, this object should have its property values modified back to the original values prior to the first publish after restoring.
