All of the rules defined in this library are shown in the hsMrnAsm_Rules sheet of the HS_Marine_Assy.xls file. The workbook is available on the customer support web site. By default, the software places all of the supports using the rules described below.

hsMrnSteelStandardName - If you want to change the section standard, then you must modify this rule. This rule also has an impact in the hsMrnSrv_FrmCorresp sheet. The section standard must be the same in both sheets.
hsMrnRLFrmOH – When Overhang Option is set to From Catalog Rule, then overhangs are taken from the hsMrnSrv_FrmOH sheet. Overhangs are retrieved based on the selected pipe that has the largest pipe diameter.

hsMrnRLPAttachSel- When Pipe Attachment from Rule is set to True, then the pipe attachment type is selected from the hsMrnSrv_PAttachType sheet based on the selected pipe that has the largest diameter.

The From Pipe Attachment Type and the Pipe Attachment Part is selected from the hsMrnSrv_PAttachSel sheet.The pipe diameter is added to the Pipe Attachment Part from AIR to get the specific part number for the selected pipe diameter.

hsMrnRLSectionSize – When Section Size From Rule is set to True then according to the Section Type selected, the Section Code is selected from the hsMrnSrv_SecSize sheet. The selected pipe NPD (which has the largest NPD) is taken from AIR to get the Section Code.

hsMrnRLFlatBarSize – When Flat Bar From Rule is set to True then according to the Section Type selected, the Section Code will be selected from the hsMrnSrv_FBSecSize sheet. The selected pipe NPD (which has the largest NPD) is taken from AIR to get the Section Code.
