Perform the following steps to upgrade the Domain Schema using the 12.2.1.4.0 Upgrade Assistant.

  1. Open a command prompt window as administrator.

  2. Navigate to

    C:\<Oracle_iAS_12.2.1.4_Home>\oracle_common\upgrade\bin

  3. Execute ua.bat

  4. Click Next.

  5. Select All Schemas Used by the Domain.

  6. In Domain Directory, select the base_domain directory.

  7. Click Next.

  8. Click Next on Component List dialog.

  9. Check all prerequisites and select the check boxes when done.

  10. Provide the RCU Database connection information.

  11. Click Next to complete steps 6, 7.

  12. Type and confirm the new schema password.

  13. Click Next to complete steps 9, 10, 11.

  14. Click Upgrade.

  15. Click Next and Close to complete the upgrade.
