This list does not contain the BIR and MobileScan modules. Business Intelligence Reporting will pull a BIR license and Smart Materials MobileScan a MobileScan license if available, but other applications like Smart Materials or Smart Materials Classic will not use BIR or MobileScan. MSCM-SUPP is only used for Portal or E-Supplier.

A seat may be requested for eight different tags from the keystore in sequence due to exhausted license counts. To avoid a performance decrease, the Active indicator on the license module table is used to work around this. You can find the Active check box on A.30.04 License Modules/Menus.

SBCSA3004Active

We recommend setting all license modules to inactive that you have not purchased. If a license module is set to inactive, the software does not try to get one of its seats from the keystore. Instead, it continues with the next license module in the list. For example, a customer who has only Smart Reference Data (SPRD) and Smart Materials (SPMAT) license, can update all the other license modules to inactive on their database. The effect would be, that the license modules in above list items 1 to 6 are not queried from the keystore, thus saving time. ADM should not be deactivated. Anyway, ADM is neither in the price book nor in ISL.

Toggling between active and inactive will only apply to sessions which connect after the change was committed. It will not influence open sessions.
