The Change Material command applies only to welds and supports.

On the pipeline, select a weld or a support.

Select Edit > Change Material to display the Select New Material dialog.

Select the material that you want to replace the material of the selected component type. The dialog lists all the materials that currently reside in the material database.

Select OK.

You can use Edit > Select Like to change all like components simultaneously.

To verify that the material change has been applied, view the fly-text associated with each component.
