Select Add > Additional Materials to display the Selection ribbon. You can also elect Add Additional Material
on the Place toolbar.

Select a material group in the Group list.

Select
on the Selection ribbon to display the Select New Material dialog..

Select the item code for the material to add, and then select OK.

Type a value in the Quantity box on the Selection ribbon.

In the Graphics window select the component to which to place the additional material, and then select OK
on the Selection ribbon.
If you select Pipe in the additional material Group list, you must define the length of the associated pipe by typing a value in the Length box. For example, if you define the Quantity as 2 and the Length as 1000 mm, the software creates two lengths of 1000 mm pipe.
