When generating and saving PDFs in a Windows environment, you must have read/write permission for the folder where you save the PDF files. This is because of security features in Windows which only allows users with access to a folder, to save to that folder, even if the path and folder were set in SmartPlant Instrumentation.
If you are unable to save a PDF, try changing the path and folder to a folder that
you are sure you have access to.
